Your download already has crisper text in your original fonts and colors. Below are words the reader was unsure about. Leave them alone to keep your artwork exactly as designed, or retype one to have that single word redrawn.
A large file is not automatically a sharp file. A JPG may contain millions of pixels while its letters still look soft because it was compressed, enlarged earlier, exported at low quality, or flattened from a screenshot. This tool inspects the actual artwork instead of trusting the file size or a DPI label. It measures useful resolution, edge strength, blur, compression artifacts, contrast, page dimensions, and whether a PDF still contains real vector text.
Vector content stays vector
If a PDF already contains clean fonts, lines, and shapes, the worker protects those objects. It does not flatten a good PDF just to claim a higher DPI number.
Raster artwork gets careful restoration
Photos and flattened designs can receive controlled denoising, deblocking, edge-preserving enlargement, contrast correction, and sharpening. The process avoids bright halos and exaggerated outlines that can make printed artwork look worse.
Blurry text gets sharpened, not replaced
Text Rescue finds the lettering with offline OCR on the private CheapFAST Printing worker, then steepens those letter edges in place. Your real fonts, colors, script logos, and layout stay exactly as designed, and every pixel is held inside the tone range the artwork already had, so it cannot add halos or crunchy outlines. Anything outside the text is left untouched. If a word is genuinely wrong you can retype just that word. No external AI image service receives the file.
Honest limits protect your artwork
No software can recover a missing letter with certainty when the original pixels no longer contain enough information. For that reason, the enhancer reports what it changed, flags uncertain text, and keeps the source dimensions truthful. It will not quietly invent a phone number, price, URL, name, or promotion. For extremely damaged artwork, the safest next step may still be obtaining the original design file or having a prepress specialist rebuild it.
We restore soft logos here before they go on a coated card
A Bronx barber sends a logo saved from Instagram. Edges look like dust. We run this enhancer, keep the mark honest, and refuse a plastic AI face on the owner photo. A church program scan from 2009 gets a light lift so names stay readable on 80 lb text, not reinvented.

When CheapFAST should enhance artwork, and when we should not
Answer first: drop the file that looks tired. Choose Safe Enhance unless the letters themselves are the problem. Then choose Text Rescue. Ask for a print PDF at 300 DPI. Download the result and look at it the way a customer will look at a card in a wallet, not the way a thumbnail looks on a phone.
Jobs this tool is for
A church flyer scanned from a paper original. A realtor logo saved from a website. A menu photographed on a table. Those files print muddy. Safe Enhance tightens edges. Text Rescue tries to rebuild letters that are already in the picture. Neither mode should invent a new brand mark.
A Hialeah contractor once sent a PNG of a truck door. The type was 90 pixels tall. Enhance made it less crunchy. It did not make it a vector. We still asked for a better file before 500 yard signs. Honesty here saves a reprint.
Jobs this tool is not for
It is not a bleed adder. Use Uncrop. It is not a grammar pass. Use Grammar Check. It is not a license to print someone else's photo. You still own the rights question. It is not a promise of foil, silk, or 34 pt. Those chips stay off until they are on a live form.
Output a PDF when the next step is a CheapFAST order. Output a PNG when you still need to place the art on a guideline sheet. Keep names 0.125 inch off the trim after you place it. Ground shipping will still sit inside the print number when you quote 250 cards to ZIP 33140.
How we judge a good result
Type that was readable stays readable and does not grow a white halo. Paper texture, if it was in a scan, should still look like paper. A logo circle should stay a circle. If the result looks plastic or invents serifs, throw it away and email support@cheapfastprinting.com. A person will say redraw.
A file story from Pompano
A booster club photographed a mascot banner on a phone, then asked for 500 flyers. The type was readable at arm's length and mush at 300 percent. Safe Enhance cleaned the edge noise. It did not rebuild the mascot into a new animal. They still replaced the logo with a better PNG before we plated. That is a win. A fake sharp mascot would have been a fail.
Text Rescue is for a scan where the letters exist and are crushed, not for a logo that was never drawn. If you only have a favicon, stop. Commission a redraw or use Design Studio type. Enhancing a 32 pixel icon to a yard sign is how towns get blurry candidates.
DPI talk without mythology
300 DPI on a 3.5 x 2 card is a small pixel box. 300 DPI on a 24 x 36 poster is huge. This tool can target 300 or 600. 600 will not invent detail that never existed. It can make a soft scan less embarrassing. Look at the result at the viewing distance of the product. A wallet is cruel. A hallway poster is kinder.
Output PDF when the next click is a CheapFAST upload. Output PNG when you still need to place the art on the 3.5 x 2 sample or an 8.5 x 11 flyer sheet. Keep a copy of the original. If enhance goes plastic, revert.
Rights and honesty
We will enhance a file you say you may print. We will not launder a stolen photo. If a face or a landmark looks licensed, you still own that question. Pay Later still waits for your proof approval. Ground stays inside the print price when you finally order.

Before and after, judged like a press check
Open the enhanced file next to the original. Zoom to the smallest letter that will print. If the letter grew a halo, reject the enhance. If the letter is the same shape and less mushy, keep it. If a new serif appeared, reject it. We would rather you upload a slightly soft honest logo than a pretty lie.
A 33140 realtor enhanced a headshot for a yard sign. The face at the edge smeared. We told her to use a tighter crop on a new photo, not to push enhance again. The sign used 4 mm plastic and H-wire from the yard-sign form. Ground stayed inside that total.
Batch work belongs on a paid order, not on twelve public drops. One file per minute is the public rule. A church with 20 ministry logos should pick the one that will print this week. Email the rest with the order number.
Safe Enhance stays the default because most CheapFAST jobs are tired phone photos, not crushed text. Text Rescue is the exception. If you click it on a photo of a truck, you can melt the door. Read the mode label.
A wallet card shows every soft letter. Safe Enhance is for weak edges, not for inventing a new logo.A poster can hide a little softness at ten feet. A 3.5 x 2 card cannot. Pick the mode for the product you will order.
Questions we answer on this bench
Will this invent letters that were never in my file?
Safe Enhance is the default because it tries not to invent type. Text Rescue is for files where letters are already there but crushed. If the source is a 40 pixel logo, no mode will make it a trademark-safe 300 DPI mark. Redraw or send a better file.
What file size can I drop?
The public page says one file per minute, up to 15 MB. If your press PDF is larger, use the File Uploader on a real order or split pages.
Does enhance replace a proof?
No. After you enhance, still request a CheapFAST proof or use Pay Later so you approve pixels before we print. Enhancing a bad crop does not add the missing eighth inch of bleed.
